Billed as the “Poet of the Piano,” Nathan Carterette will perform for Palm Springs Concerts on Sunday, January 31, 2027, 2:00 p.m., at the Richards Center for the Arts in Palm Springs.
Nathan has distinguished himself in the concert world by performing a huge range of classical works from Elizabethan times to music written today. His innovative, instructive approach has inspired audiences to appreciate unfamiliar music with an open ear and familiar masterpieces with a new appreciation.
Inspired by the never-ending expressive possibilities of the piano, Nathan’s story-telling approach to classical music leaves the audience filled with a new appreciation for the great composers and their masterpieces. Known for his brilliant and engaging performances of Bach, Nathan has offered the Well-Tempered Clavier and the Goldberg Variations dozens of time in concert.
This will be Nathan’s second appearance with Palm Springs Concerts, having appeared on our stage in January 2024 to great acclaim.
