IN SCHOOL CONCERTS & SCHOLARSHIPS

Student Outreach, with your help.

Each ticket you purchase to one of our concerts helps to fund Palm Springs Concerts’ Student Outreach Programs.

For the past 20 years, The Palm Springs Concert Association has provided thousands of Palm Springs Unified School District students with free access to high-quality musical performing arts experiences they would otherwise be unlikely to encounter.  PS Concerts has expanded its reach by bringing mini-concerts directly into the PSUSD schools.

This season (2026-2027) children from elementary schools in the Palm Springs Unified School District will be treated to The Royal Palms Trio at their schools.  The TRIO is comprised of Denise Ondishko, Ph.D., piano; Jeannine Manthey, violin; and Becky Long, cello.

Our Artists present special interactive concerts, customized to the children’s age group and interest.  Students experience live classical music (some for the first time), learn about composers, about musical instruments, their sounds and range, and meet memorable artists.

Live classical music matters because it creates emotional, cognitive, and social experiences that shape young minds—especially those who might otherwise never encounter the performing arts.

IN-SCHOOL CONCERTS

Palm Springs Concerts conducts a scholarship program to help musically inclined high school seniors fund their college or university education.

With your help, it’s all about the music, a precious, shared cultural experience worth preserving.
